In the previous article we discussed design placements and how it would affect your Feng Shui. In this article, we will explain how different colours on your name card can affect your Feng Shui.
Firstly, the different colours represent the different elements. For example, red represents the fire element and black represents water. Some colours should not be paired with as there is a clashes and some colours can complement each other as the elements are able to harmonise with one another. The table below will show you which colours complement each other and which colours conflicts with one another.
Auspicious Color Combinations
Here are some colour combinations and its meanings and representations

Black & White - These two colours complement each other as they represent the water & metal element respectively. Metal attracts water or wealth to itself, thus making it colour combination that attracts wealth

Green & Red - Green represents wood which symbolises business growth and red represents fire which fuels creativity. With creativity comes innovation and with innovation comes growth.

Yellow & White - Yellow represents earth and white represents metal. Earth creates metal and placing these colours together will enhance prosperity
Choosing Industry Relevant Colours

Silver or Gold: finance, jewelry, medical and surgical, government agencies, IT, sales, insurance and automobile companies

Purple or blue: Music, food, transportation, distribution, beauty supplies, cleaning, counselling, and therapy industries

Yellow: real estate, ecological or agricultural industries

Green: Landscaping, furniture, lumber, carpentry, publishing, education, and clothing companies

Red: Fire-related products, candles, cooking appliances, restaurants, creative, sports, and retail industries
Feng Shui Symbols for Elements
Certain symbols also represent the different Feng Shui elements. Be mindful of which symbol to place in your name cards and evaluate if the symbol is related to your company’s industry.
- Water: Curves, waves, tortoise, dragon, and fish
- Fire: Flames, phoenix, horse, and rooster
- Metal: Shield, disc, rock, gold ingot, and coin
- Wood: Lotus flower, trees, bamboo, tall cylindrical and column shapes
- Earth: Oval, circle, triangle, pottery, and crystal
