Feng Shui for your name cards
A name card is especially important to those who are in industries that require recognition. A name card is the first contact with a prospect. Thus, designing your name card with Feng Shui in mind could get you that big sale due to the enhancement of various luck. Here are some tips on designing your name card with Feng Shui.
A name card consists of 4 sides that are categorised by 4 different mythical creatures on each side.
Black Tortoise (Top) - It signifies the support that you would receive which is why company logos are mostly found at the top and big fonts are used. The big and bold fonts are used to represent mountain-like presence so as to support the house. Placing a logo at the top left is excellent for female business owners, the center would be excellent for company recognition, and the top right would be excellent for success luck.
Red Phoenix (Bottom) - This sector has the biggest space and it could be represented as the bright hall, an open space for auspicious energy to accumulate. Small fonts are recommended to be used in this area so as to maximise the space. If there is any art work placed in this are, make sure it is does not overwhelm the logo at the top section.
Tiger (Left) - When placing a strong design on the left side of the name card, it represents you embracing the tiger. This would mean that the tiger is protecting your assets.
Dragon (Right) - When placing a strong design on the right side of the name card, this represents embracing the dragon, where it reaches out for opportunities.
You should also be mindful of some designs as it may have reverse effects of good Feng Shui In your name cards. Here are some designs you should avoid putting on your name card/.
- Sha Chi - Sha Chi or poison arrows could lead to negative energy directed at you. Designs with sharp corners or slashes directed to your name, company name or logo are not ideal as this contributes to Sha Chi. Designs that would look as though the company name or your name is trapped are also not ideal.
- Downslope - Designs that involve downward slopes are not ideal as it symbolises a downward trend. Instead, place upward trajectory designs to symbolise growth.
