Elephants 大象

Elephant is a symbol of strength, fertility & intelligence, cherished & respected by many cultures. In Buddhism, the elephant is one of the eight holy animals while in the Hinduu religion, Ganesha is the God with the head of an elephant. In Indochina & Thailand, where the only people permitted to ride an Elephant are the King & deities.

In Feng Shui, it is an icon of fertility because the mother of Buddha has dreams of a pure white elephant prior to buddha’s birth. It’s also an auspicious omen providing protection for the beholder.
