Calabash - Hu Lu 葫芦

Calabash also known as the Hu Lu 葫芦 is one of the most prominent symbol for longevity. It is believed to bring blessings, good health & prosperity into homes. The hu lu also has the power to absorb bad chi in your surroundings. According to Chinese mythology, the Toaist monks & dieties used the gourd to trap evil spirits thus this belief.
