Feng Shui for Study Area
Improve your study area with Feng Shui
Here are some tips to improve your study area with Feng Shui:
Logically, when your back is facing the door you will not be able to see who is coming into the room. Someone is able to sneak up on you and break your study flow. In Feng Shui, you should not face your back to the door as it states that not being able to see the entrance can lead to missing a business opportunity that might walk by.
When facing your desk in front of a wall, you may encounter obstacles and barriers. This can make you feel rejected and lack the motivation and vision would discourage you to improve the current situation.
Looking out of the window into a beautiful environment could distract you from the task at hand. Your mind starts to wander and you keep losing focus. In Feng Shui, it is not about the distractions rather, the opening that allows your personal Qi to escape.
In Feng Shui, clutter stimulates negative energy. Unnecessary things from your desk can negatively influence your emotions at work. By clearing it away, positive energy can flow and you will regain strength, feel optimistic and energized.
You could decorate your desk with auspicious items that will be able to boost your academic success. Auspicious Items such as; Carp, Crystal Globe, Amethyst Gem Tree, Abacus and a Crystal Point.
Where to place your study desk?
The placement of the desk should:
- Have the door in sight
- Don’t be in one line with the door
- Have a good backing behind you (like a wall)
- Be as far away from the door as possible
This is also known as the command position. It is also said that you should face your personal Fu Wei direction, or “wisdom direction”, which will enhance your academic luck. Keeping auspicious symbols in this direction can further enhance your luck. When studying or working, try to sit in your Fu Wei direction; this can be determined by a compass. You are encouraged to sleep with your head pointing towards this direction as well.
